hraun

Well, here I am. After resurrecting the old Prussian Green blog, I figured I'd make myself one as well, seeing as I've many far-flung/globe-trotting amigos. AND, I'm graduating soon. After all, there's no telling (at this point, anyway) where I'll end up in the not so distant future. (AKA, the end of May. Jesus.) Yes, that's just the stereotypical college graduate conundrum. I worry very much about leaving my support group, haha. All the same, here's what everything is looking like for me in regards to the next six months of my life or so.

Definite plans:
  1. January - Sundance Film Festival 2008. B.S.C. duty, hard core.

  2. April - China documentaries: finished.

  3. May - Graduate!

  4. June & July & August - Shooting a new documentary in Tanzania/Rwanda/Uganda on dying with dignity via HIV/AIDS hospice care.
So, all is not lost. I'm not terribly worried about there being a lack of direction - (I've many to choose from, obviously). I just feel a little uncomfortable right now thanks to the lack of clarity I have as to what, specifically, my future will entail. Perhaps I'm just enough of a control freak at heart to feel this way.

In other news, Tiff moved out-ish the other day. I miss her already, but I'll make her come visit all the time. Music nights with Robert and her are a must. Oh, I'm sure Kaia will be a fun roommate -- don't get me wrong. I love Kaia, but deep down, I simply dislike change. I'm an old woman in that sense.

Editing for Carillon has been going really well. Sometimes I doubt my abilities, but so far so good. We'll be announcing everything come February. I'm very excited to get formatting underway and get it off to the press. This year's magazine will be wonderful.

Also, the spring is looking like it'll be really, REALLY nice. I'm not taking any evening classes... nor am I overloading (a first!).

I'm going to visit the folks for the Holiday and Mike is coming along. Our plans include: sleeping, eating, and photography (Dec 23-26). I'll have no cell phone service for those of you interested in trying to get hold of me, nor will I be checking my e-mail. In other words, I'll talk to you in a few days.

Anyway, more soon. Ciao.
